Red Moss Agate
$32 per kg
All rough rock orders must be a minimum combined weight of 10kg
Red Moss Agate is a type of Chalcedony and is formed by the deposition of silica by water. It is notable for inclusions that resemble moss and the stones beauty lies in the sometimes semi translucent body interspersed with branch-like plumes of reds, browns, yellows and blues which produces a wonderful gemstone that appears to have moss trapped or suspended within the stone. Our Red Moss agate takes a stunning polish and is a great stone to work with on your next lapidary project. Whether you're creating jewellery, cutting cabs or just want polished slabs for your gemstone showcase.
