Charcoal-black pitted crust flecked with pale grey covers the larger nodule, giving way to a smooth grey-brown surface on the smaller stone beside it. Agni Manitite is a variety of obsidian sourced from riverbeds around Malamingan village in Sumatra. When backlit, these rounded nodules often show a warm translucent glow of brown, grey and green, though not every piece is translucent, with some instead displaying a silvery sheen. This obsidian is popularly called the Pearls of Divine Fire.
